Unique Mikumi Safari was founded by local guides who grew up in the villages bordering Mikumi National Park. We believe the people who know the land best should share it.
Growing up near Mikumi, we saw tourists visiting our national park in large tour buses run by foreign agencies. We realized that local stories, local warmth, and conservation benefits were being left behind.
In 2012, we joined hands to create a fully locally-owned safari coordinator. Our main mission is to offer highly personal, small-group safaris while directly supporting the local community. Today, a percentage of every safari booking goes directly to funding schools and water filters in Morogoro.

Karibu is not just a greeting to us. We treat guests like family and design every safari personally.
All guides undergo professional training, have extensive animal knowledge, and use clean, custom 4x4 vehicles.
We strictly respect national park guidelines, limit plastic waste, and invest in local forest conservation.

Hamisi has spent over 15 years guiding in Mikumi and Ruaha. He knows the animal paths and behavior by heart.

Amina handles the itinerary planning, park permissions, and lodge bookings to ensure a perfect journey.

Baraka's incredible spotting skills mean you'll see hidden wildlife. He is passionate about Tanzanian conservation.
